Kindle du izena, eta 399 $tan saltzen dute Interneten. Hari gabeko konexioa duen testu irakurgailu digitala da. 3G teknologian oinarritutako Whispernet zerbitzua baliatzen du Internetera konektatzeko. Sareko liburudenda handienak, Amazonek, atera berri du.
Hari gabeko konexioarekin Kindle Store dendan eros daitezke zuzenean irakurgaiak. Eta saretik eskuratzeaz gain, USB edo SD txartelarekin zure PDFak kargatu ditzakezu. Testuen iPoda dela esan genezake…
AEBetako, Irlandako, Alemaniako eta Estatu frantseseko “egunkari nagusiak” eskuratzeko aukera eskaintzen du, defektuz. Eta Wikipedia kontsultatzeko aukera ere badu. Gatxet hau aurkezteko erabili dituzten irudietan, kasualitatez edo 
Johannes Gutenberg-en sarrerarekin ilustratu dute aukera hau.
